PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for controlling a power converter which can maintain a correspondence relationship between an output voltage from an inverter and an instructed value of an AC voltage. SOLUTION: The apparatus for controlling the power converter detects a voltage across a smoothing capacitor on the DC power supply side of the inverter, calculates the ratio of, or the difference between the detected value and an instructed value of a DC voltage, corrects the instructing value of the AC voltage by using the calculated value, and controls the pulse width modulating inverter based on the corrected value. |
