PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation fan in which its installing work can be carried out well, a less restriction of fixing location is required and a discharged air flow under ventilation can be effectively utilized. SOLUTION: This ventilation fan is constructed such that a blowing-out opening of a cylindrical wind tunnel 2 arranged to pass through a partition structure 1 for dividing an indoor or outdoor area of a room with its one end being opened at the indoor side as a suction part and the other end being opened as a blowing-out port at the outdoor side is provided with a guide plate 7 having a larger top plan view area, than that of the opening is held at an opposing position spaced apart from the opening of the tunnel 2 and then a discharging port 12 opened in a radial direction is formed between the guide plate 7 and the air blowing-out side of the wind tunnel 2. A motor 15 is fixed to the guide plate 7 in such a way that a rotating shaft 14 is projected into the wind tunnel 2 toward a central line and then a propeller type vane wheel 16 rotated within the wind tunnel 2 to produce an air flow directed from the suction side opening of the wind tunnel 2 toward the discharging port 12 is installed at the rotating shaft 14 of this motor 15. |
