<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an own vehicle degree of risk acquisition device capable of precisely calculating a degree of risk of one's own vehicle and determining a degree of safety to another traveling condition of the own vehicle even when a traveling course has many divergences such as intersections. <P>SOLUTION: An own vehicle degree of risk acquisition ECU 1 calculates and acquires a plurality of possible traveling courses of the own vehicle and other vehicles around the own vehicle based on the respective traveling conditions. Based on the possible traveling courses of the own vehicle and the other vehicles, the best own vehicle course collision probability (own vehicle degree of risk) is calculated. An own vehicle offset traveling condition, wherein a traveling condition of the own vehicle is offset, is calculated, and based on the own vehicle offset traveling condition, a plurality of possible traveling courses of the own vehicle are calculated to be acquired. Based on the possible traveling courses of the own vehicle and those of other vehicles calculated based on the own vehicle offset condition, the best own vehicle traveling course collision probability (the degree of offset risk) is calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
