Disclosed is a composition for refrigerating machines which enables to improve compatibility between a refrigerating machine oil and a refrigerant and to increase the high-temperature separation temperature of the composition for refrigerating machines. Specifically disclosed is a composition for refrigerating machines which is composed of at least one refrigerating machine oil selected from terminally alkylated polyethers and terminally acylated polyethers having specific structures, and a mixed refrigerant of a hydrofluorocarbon and CF<SUB>3</SUB>I.
