<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make relative position accuracy of a bumper and a lamp excellent, and to prevent load from the bumper from inputting in the lamp. <P>SOLUTION: In this bumper mounting structure 10, a bracket 28 is connected to a head lamp 16 to be positioned since a pair of engaging pawls 32 and 34 of the bracket 28 are engaged to a boss 22 of the head lamp 16. In this positioning state, the bracket 28 is fixed to a body panel 14. Since an insertion piece 50 of a bumper cover 48 is inserted between the pair of engaging pawls 32 and 34, the bumper cover 48 is mounted on the bracket 28 and is supported by the body panel 14. When the insertion piece 50 is inserted between the pair of engaging pawls 32 and 34, the pair of engaging pawls 32 and 34 are bent and deformed by the insertion piece 50, and an engaging state of the boss 22 and the pair of engaging pawls 32 and 34, that is, the connecting state of the bracket 28 and the head lamp 16 is released. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
