摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical image information detecting apparatus with enhanced adaptability to the detection of optical image information of a high speed phenomenon. SOLUTION: In a high speed imaging element, even if there exists a significant difference of two-dimension and one-dimension between the arrangement mode of one side ends 10A of optical fibers 10 and that of photodiodes, the system undergoes a transformation for mapping while an incident light the incident light passes through the optical fibers 10 according to the arrangement mode of optical paths of the optical fibers 10, the incident light is surely transmitted from the optical fibers 10 to the photo diodes, where the incident light is converted into an electric signal to permit detection of two-dimensional image information. As a result, the arrangement mode of a linear array is adopted for the arrangement mode of the photodiodes to sufficiently reserve the arrangement area for signal storage sections under the photodiodes, thereby obtaining a configuration suitable for the detection of the optical image information of the high speed phenomenon by increasing the number of signal transfer cells of each signal storage section resulting in increasing the number of consecutively photographed pictures.
