PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling device which can precisely control a vehicle, based on an anticipated state while controlling the calculation amount from increasing by changing the intervals of time to predict the state of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The invention is equipped with an anticipating means which anticipates the state of the vehicle while changing the intervals of time to predict so that the variation of the state to be anticipated falls within a prescribed range, and a controlling means for controlling the state of the vehicle from the state anticipated by the anticipating means. This configuration changes the intervals of time to predict so that the variation of the state to be anticipated falls within the prescribed range to not only achieve accurate anticipation of the state of the vehicle while controlling the calculation amount required for anticipation from increasing but also to precisely control the vehicle, based on the state anticipated.
