PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel type curtain suitable for use at home, allowed to be properly, simply and easily used in place of an ordinary curtain, and capable of preventing the living space from being narrowed due to its use. SOLUTION: Both leading and trailing ends of an upper edge 14 of a curtain cloth piece 13 are connected to a runner 12 traveling along a curtain rail 11 and hung thereon. This panel type curtain 15 is moved in the longitudinal direction of the curtain rail 11 keeping a preset designated width W to be opened and closed. A plurality of the panel type curtains are hung on the same one curtain rail 11. A runner 12a2 connected to one end of the upper edge of one panel type curtain 15b of the adjacent ones of the plurality of panel type curtains is interposed between two runners 12a1 and 12b1 at both leading and trailing ends, that is, the runner 12a1 connected to the leading end of the upper edge of the other panel type curtain 15a of the adjacent ones and the runner 12b1 connected to the trailing end thereof.
