PURPOSE:To obtain a composition containing a specific polymethylhydrodie nesiloxane, polyorganosiloxane having an alkenyl group and catalyst for addition reaction, capable of readily obtaining a soft gel, having no change in the hard ness of gel by heating and being excellent in cold resistance. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition obtained by bending (A) polymethylhydrodienesiloxane consisting of 80-97.7mol.% (CH3)2SiO unit, 2.0-10.0mol.% CH3SiO1.5 unit, 0.2-9.0mol.% (CH3)3SiO0.5 unit and 0.1-1.0mol.% (preferably 0.2-0.5mol.%) H(CH3)2SiO0.5 unit and having viscosity in the range of 50-10,000 CP at 25 deg.C with (B) polyorganosiloxane having at least 1.5 average alkenyl group per one molecule at an amount of 0.2-5.0mol. average alkenyl group per 1mol. Si bonding hydrogen of the component A and (C) catalyst for addition reaction (e.g. platinum compound) at an amount of 0.01-50ppm as an amount of metal element based on total amount of components A and B.
