PURPOSE:To improve a washing speed fro a ground object, when it is removed, and reduce an inferiority rate, by applying an ultraviolet ray hardening type adhesive agent to the forced contact periphery between the ground object and a grinding bed and hardening the ground object to be fixed by irradiating ultraviolet rays, in the case of manufacture for a floppy head or the like. CONSTITUTION:The method, forcing a ground object 1 of ferrite and ceramic or the like to be brought into contact with a grinding bed 2 while applying a fixed pressure or an attracting pressure by magnetic force or a vacuum source, applies an ultraviolet ray hardening type adhesive agent 3 of low viscosity to the forced contact peripheral part between said object 1 and said bed 2 and hardens the object to be fixed by irradiating ultraviolet rays while applying the pressing force or the attracting pressure. And the method, after it performs predetermined cutting or grinding, swells the object by a chlorine system solvent to be removed and washed. In this way, the method, preventing the adhesive agent from being contained between the ground object and the fixing bed, improves cutting and grinding accuracy to 0.1mum or less and reduces a washing time to be only required for removal, while the method, reducing also contamination to a small level,decreases a rate of inferiority to 1/3 times that in the past. |
