<p>Parent Patent described a sieve in a pneumatic grinding plant for size-redn. of solid materials. A by-pass line was provided around the sieve and this enabled the quality of the end-product to be varied. In the disclosure oa further sieve is included in the by-pass line. The main stream of air and particles (ML) flows upwards through a rotary sieve which separates large particles which return to the size-redn. appts. along the housing walls. Particles passing the sieve, which is driven by a shaft leave through an outlet. A sec. stream flows through a bypass which includes a further rotary sieve. Material sepd. can be returned to the size-redn. appts. or removed for use elsewhere. The remainder of the particles rejoin the main stream.</p> |
