PURPOSE:To access directly a substitutive track without accessing a substitutive sector at the second access or after of a defective sector requiring the seeking operation of the substitutive track by providing an optical disc control device with a storage circuit and an optical disc processor. CONSTITUTION:When a defective sector is accessed through a central processor through a line 200, the optical disc processor 120 reads out the address of the defective sector which is stored in the storage circuit 110 through a line 202 and compares the address with that of the defective sector obtained from an optical disc device through a line 204. When both the addresses coincide with each other, the address of a substitutive track corresponding to the defective sector is read out from the storage circuit 110 through the line 202 and sent to the optical disc device through a line 203. Thus, the seeking operation to the substitutive track is directly performed without accessing the substitutive sector. |
