<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appropriate multimedia service method. <P>SOLUTION: A multimedia service of a UMTS system identifies a user group who receives MBMS data or data of a specified MBMS service, by exchanging MBMS service related information between a UTRAN and terminals or nodes within the UTRAN by using MBMS RNTI, when the UTRAN provides the MBMS service. Specifically, a radio communication system for providing the MBMS (multimedia broadcast/multicast service) to a plurality of terminals provides the multimedia service method to be configured by a step of producing an identifier for the specified MBMS service; a step of making the produced identifier included into all of MBMS protocol data units; and a step of transmitting the MBMS protocol data units to the terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
