The method involves obtaining current operational parameters of an energy harvesting system. The obtained operational parameters are compared to a target operating condition to determine whether the operational parameters are within a pre-defined range of the target operating condition. The operation of the energy harvesting system is adjusted when the operational parameters are outside the pre-defined range of the target operating condition to maximize operating efficiency of the energy harvesting system.
