PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose overheating anomaly, after having acquired the temperature characteristics of installation at a site with a facility installed place, etc. SOLUTION: This overheat diagnostic device is equipped with a thermo camera part 2 for taking a thermal image P1 of a diagnosing object Fm; a display/input part 7 displaying the thermal image P1 photographed with the thermo camera part 2, while inputting classification information on the diagnosing object Fm therein; a database 5 with temperature characteristics stored therein for each piece of classification information; a diagnostic program 9 for diagnosing overheating anomaly, based on the temperature characteristics obtained from the database 5, based on the classification information inputted by the display/input part 7 and on designated measurement temperature on the thermal image P1; and an output part 10 for outputting a diagnosis result obtained by using the diagnostic program 9.
