<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine that can prevent focused shootings by players. <P>SOLUTION: When a start lever is operated, random numbers generated by a random-number generating circuit 115, being composed of two bytes counter circuit which adds up a value of one each at every time a clock pulse is inputted, are loaded into RAM 112. Here, the random numbers loaded into RAM 112 different from the random numbers generated by the random-number generating circuit 115 as the bit row gain a reverse order of each other. After the predetermined value is added to the higher rank byte data of the random numbers loaded into RAM 112 and the rotating process is performed, an exclusive OR operation is carried out by each and every bit with the lower rank byte data. This gains the lower rank byte of the random numbers for internal lottery. The result of this exclusive OR operation is again exclusive OR operated by each and every bit with the predetermined-value-added lower rank byte loaded into RAM 112.
