METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF NON-HOMOGENEITY FACTOR OF ACOUSTIC PROPERTIES IN MATERIALS

FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is used to determine non-homogeneity factor of acoustic properties in materials. Emission of ultrasonic vibrations is made through reference material, using liquid or elastomer as such material, in direction of surface of material under study; ultrasonic vibration reflection coefficients R1 and R2 from the above surface are determined at two values Z1 and Z2 of acoustic resistance of reference material. At that additional determination of equivalent acoustic resistance Zx' and Zx" is carried out for material under study at values Z1 and Z2 of acoustic resistance of reference material respectively. Whereat non-homogeneity factor of acoustic properties in materials is defined using respective mathematical expressions. ^ EFFECT: functionality enhancement of ultrasonic analysis of two-component non-homogeneous materials.
