PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of immediately transmitting information about failure of a corresponding power supply unit to the outside when the failure occurs in the inside of each power supply unit during parallel operation of the power supply units. SOLUTION: The parallel redundant type power supply system has a structure in which a plurality of power supply units 1, 2, ... each equipped with a standby power supply 12 for higher-order controller are provided and power supply lines for control circuit of the power supply units 1, 2, ... are connected in parallel on each output side. The power supply units 1, 2, ... are each provided with an external interface circuit 15 for transmitting the state of its own device to the outside, wherein a control power supply unit-introducing side of the circuit 15 is connected to the power supply line for control circuit via a first reverse flow blocking circuit 16 and connected to a parallel output line 10A of the power supply line for control circuit via a second reverse flow blocking circuit 17. With this configuration, the external interface circuit 15 is supplied with power even in non-power failure, and for example, if the power supply unit 1 is broken, the internally equipped external interface circuit 15 can perform outside transmission.
