The heatable tool (1) comprises a base support (2) made from metal, a molded bed (6) made from plastic, and a connecting layer (4) made from heat-conductive plastic and present between the base support and the molded bed. The connecting layer and the molded bed are detachably connected with each other. The connecting layer comprises a projection, which connects the base support and the molded bed together. The base support comprises a heating device (10) such as oil heater or electrical heater. Independent claims are included for: (1) a tool support frame; and (2) a method for producing a tool for producing molded parts.
