<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of performing display that hardly disturbs concentration on driving of a driver, even when an amount of pieces of information which can be provided to the driver is secured.SOLUTION: A display device 100 is mounted on a vehicle and comprises a HUD (Head-Up Display) 60 and a combination meter 10. The HUD 60 displays a virtual image 35 on a virtual image display area 111 defined by a window shield 110. The display device 100 displays information on a multiple display area 11 located on a lower direction DD of the virtual image display area 111, and a pointer display area 15 located on a side part of the virtual image display area 111, respectively. In the above-mentioned display device 100, when the information is displayed by the virtual image 35 on the virtual image display area 111, display of information on the pointer display area 15 is interrupted. On the other hand, on the multiple display area 11, information which is more detailed than that displayed on the virtual image display area 111 is displayed.</p> |
