The present invention relates to a camera actuator for a portable terminal and, more specifically, to a camera actuator for a portable terminal having a camera-shake correction function of correcting the shaking of a camera by moving a lens in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the lens. The camera actuator for a portable terminal, according to the present invention, comprises: a fixing part mounted to the portable terminal; a first moving part disposed in the interior of the fixing part to move in a perpendicular direction to an optical axis; a plurality of magnets mounted to the first moving part; and a plurality of first coils mounted to the fixing part to correspond to the magnets, respectively, and wound around a correction space into which the magnets are to be inserted, wherein one of the magnets is inserted into the correction space of the first coils facing the magnets when a current flows in the first coils. |
