<p>According to an embodiment of the present invention, an image matching method using the feature point matching of an image carries out image matching based on the coordinate information of the feature points, thereby reducing unnecessary operations and improving the performance. According to the present invention, the image matching method using the feature point matching of an image comprises: a step of taking a reference image in an image taking device using a first sensor; a step of taking a target image in an image taking device using a second sensor; a step of selecting a first reference search area including a first feature point; a step of extracting feature points in a first matching candidate search area; a step of selecting a first straight line connecting the first and second feature points; a step of generating all possible combinations of line segments between the extracted feature points in the first matching candidate search area; and a step of identifying a first matching straight line of which the length and angle match the same of the first straight line.</p> |
