The present invention relates to a circuit delay monitoring device and a method thereof. The circuit delay monitoring device according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a ring oscillator which includes a plurality of delay elements and propagates a signal transition through the delay elements, and N sampling points which are distributed around the ring oscillator. A fine sampling circuit element samples signal values at each of sampling points under the control of a reference clock signal to generate the display of the current location of the signal transition. Also, a coarse sampling circuit element includes M transition counter circuits. The coarse sampling circuit element samples the count value under the control of the reference clock signal. |
