The present invention relates to a mold for continuous casting preventing a solidified shell from being damaged. According to the present invention, the mold for continuous casting includes a pair of long side plates and a pair of short side plates. Upper ends of the long side plates and the short side plates are positioned at the same height, and a vertical length of the short side plates is formed to have a shorter length than the vertical length of the long side plates. A lower end of the short side plates further includes a revision plate, and the revision plate is coupled to side surfaces of the long side plates and the short side plates, respectively. A taper shape is formed to be inclined downward toward the center side of molten steel. Moreover, according to the present invention, a cooling method includes; a supply process, a first cooling process, a second cooling process, and a third cooling process. |
