<p>According to an embodiment, an IC card includes a communication section and a control section. The control section divides data which is transmitted to the external device. Moreover, the control section transmits a divided data portion to which an error detection code is given, to the external device through the communication section intermittently so as to make a predetermined non-transmission period. Moreover, the control section detects an error notice showing a failure in receiving divided data from the external device in the predetermined period. Furthermore, the control section retransmits the divided data portion to which the error detection code is given transmitted last after detecting the error notice.</p> |
