<p>A method for an image processing system comprising an image-source device (100), an image-distribution server (101) and a client device (102), the method comprising: uploading from the image-source device to the image-distribution server at least one image file, the image file including image data, location data identifying a location associated with the image, and restriction information designating a largest scale of map on which the image may be displayed; receiving at the image-distribution server the image file uploaded from the image-source device; receiving from a user at the client device (102) information designating a map display scale, which map display scale identifies a scale of a map that is to be displayed at the client device (102); generating, at the image-distribution server (101) and/or the client device (102), display data for displaying a map and the image; and displaying the display data on a display means of the client device (102); characterized in that in a case that the user designated map display scale is smaller than the scale of the map designated by the restriction information of the image file, the display data is generated so as to overlay the image file on the map at a position determined in accordance with the location data (S807), and, in a case that the user designated map display scale is larger than the scale of the map designated by the restriction information of the image file, the display data is generated so as to arrange the image file and the map in a configuration other than overlaying the image at a position determined in accordance with the location data (S806).</p> |
