A method for treating capillary hemangiomas in a human in need thereof, the method comprising topically administering to the site of capillary hemangiomas on the skin of the human a composition comprising an effective amount of one or more anti-capillary hemangioma active compounds selected from the group consisting of xylometazoline, epinephrine, nerepinephrine, phenylephrine, methoxamine, guanabenz, guanfacine, alpha-methyl dopamine, amphetamine, methylphenidate, lofexidine, moxonidine, dexmedetomidine, mivazerol, brimonidine, and oxymetazoline, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, or any combinations of such compounds or salts. |
