According to the present invention, a method for manufacturing a field emitter using a carbon nanotube comprises the steps of: surface-treating a metal substrate by immersing the metal substrate in a metal etching solution; forming a field emitter by adhering a carbon nanotube paste to the metal substrate according to a screen printing method; heat-treating the metal substrate formed with the field emitter; and electrical homogenization processing the heat-treated metal substrate.
