<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water level adjusting device capable of: working with mechanical mechanism requiring no manual operation and no power supply; being established on paddy field; and adjusting water level of paddy field having a compact size and a low projecting height from ridge of the paddy field in a predetermined range.SOLUTION: A water level adjusting device comprises: a housing comprising a first opening part communicating to the side of irrigation ditch and a second opening part communicating to the side of area for retarding water; a float arranged inside of the housing and on the side of the second opening part in a manner slidable in approximately vertical direction; a valve attached via a pivoting axis arranged near the first opening part of the housing, and being able to open and close on the side of the first opening part of the housing; a first rod-like member which is rotatably arranged around fulcrum arranged between the float and the valve as an axis, whose one end is movably jointed to the float, and whose the other end is movably jointed to the valve; and having approximately L-shape. The water level adjusting device has function that the valve opens or closes together with sliding of the float in vertical direction.</p> |
