The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device comprising a backlight unit including a light source, a light guide plate which faces the light source, an optical sheet formed on the light guide plate, and a reflection plate formed under the light guide plate; and a liquid crystal panel formed on the backlight unit. The liquid crystal panel includes a plurality of pixels arranged to have a certain pixel pitch (P1) in a first direction, and the light guide plate includes a plurality of protrusion patterns arranged in the lower surface to have a certain pattern pitch (P2) in the first direction, wherein the pixel pitch (P1) and the pattern pitch (P2) are set so that a moire pitch (Pm) defined by the equation: Pm=lp1sp2/p1-p2l is less than 500μm or is more than a length of the liquid crystal panel in the first direction, thereby preventing a user from recognizing moire or preventing the moire from being generated and improving an image quality. |
