COOLING APPARATUS FOR INGOT

The present invention relates to a cooling apparatus for an ingot comprising: a storing body member having an inner wall which consists of a fireproof material for storing an ingot in an inside space; and a base cover member for covering an upper part of the storing body member. The base cover member has an opening, and an auxiliary cover member opens and closes the opening. Since a slow cooling process and a rapid cooling process are easily progressed in ingot cooling, a cooling work of the ingot can be simplified; convenience of the work can be improved; and the cooling speed of the ingot can be controlled.
