PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make respective members of a fixed platen or movable platen lightweight and to reduce deflection of a mold attachment surface of the fixed platen or movable platen in mold clamping or warpage of a tie bar.SOLUTION: In a molding machine 11 including a mold clamping device 12 in which a mold clamping cylinder 28 connected to a tie bar 24 is arranged at least at one of a fixed platen 15 and a movable platen 17, at least one of the fixed platen 15 and movable platen 17 comprises outer frame members 25, 50 into which the tie bar 24 is inserted and mold attachment platens 27, 57 having mold attachment surfaces 26, 56 to which molds 14, 16 are attached, and the outer frame members 25, 50 include tie bar insertion parts 29, 50 into which the tie bar 24 is inserted, holding parts 38, 54 which are provided to the tie bar insertion parts 29, 52 and hold the mold attachment platens 27, 57, and beam members 35, 53 to which the adjacent tie bar insertion parts 29, 52 are connected. |
