PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message conversion device and a program thereof enabling effective message analysis by converting a log message collected from a monitoring target into a common format so as to enable unitary analysis.SOLUTION: The message conversion device according to an embodiment comprises: a message storage unit for storing a plurality of messages; a message division unit for dividing a message into components; a conversion rule generation unit for generating a conversion rule on the basis of the divided components for respective messages; a conversion rule determination unit for determining a variable unit and a label unit of the conversion rule on the basis of a user's input; and a message conversion unit for converting the message on the basis of the conversion rule in which the variable unit and the label unit are determined by the conversion rule determination unit.
