591251 Disclosed is a thermoplastic bag for allow better fitment around a rubbish or trash bin and a secure closure of the bag opening. The bag comprises a first sidewall of pliable thermoplastic material; a second sidewall of pliable thermoplastic material overlaying and joined to the first sidewall along a first side edge, an opposite second side edge, and a bottom edge extending between the first and second side edges to provide an interior volume. The interior volume accessible by an opening provided by first and second top edges of the respective first and second sidewalls. A draw tape in a first hem formed proximate the first top edge, the draw tape attached to the bag at the first and second side edges. The draw tape comprises two regions , where the first region and the second region have different widths, wherein the first region is pre-stretched in a range of about 5% to about 50%; and the second region is un-stretched. The second region is an end of the draw tape that attaches to the first and second side edges of the bag. A pattern of linearly arranged ribs is formed on said first region and not on said second region. |
