PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering shaft the axial extensibility of which is improved and in which the adhesiveness of a resin covering the shaft thereto is increased by an extremely simple configuration.SOLUTION: A steering shaft includes a male shaft A having a slidably moving shaft 1 and a female shaft B having a slidably moved hole 6 into which the slidably moving shaft 1 is inserted. A plurality of axial grooves 12 extending in the axial direction and a circumferential groove 13 orthogonal to the axial grooves 12 are formed in the slidably moving shaft 1. The axial grooves 12 and the circumferential groove 13 are filled with resin, and a resin covering part 4 is provided to cover the slidably moving part 1. The circumferential groove 13 is formed deeper than the axial grooves 12. |
