PURPOSE: A virtual memory management device and a method thereof are provided to improve the execution performance of an application program by increasing memory usage in a non-uniform memory access environment and reducing the overhead of memory access performance. CONSTITUTION: A virtual system memory manager (210) allocates virtual system memory to a VM (Virtual Machine). A virtual swap device map storage unit (220) stores position information of virtual swap devices allocated to the VM. A virtual swap device manager (230) refers to a virtual swap device map to allocate the virtual swap devices to the VM. The virtual swap device map storage unit stores a logical address of memory allocated to the virtual swap devices in response to an index of the virtual swap devices. The virtual system memory manager allocates internal memories(202,204) of processors(201,203) building a physical execution environment of the VM to the virtual system memory.
