<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus and a control method that do not limit an information processing device to be used, and is able to safely establish connection to an external network. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal 1 connected with a PC 5 and capable of data communication comprises: a radio communication unit 16 for performing radio communication; a storage unit for the PC 14 for storing an OS for the PC 141 which can be read and started by the PC 5; and a control unit 13 which determines whether or not the OS for the PC 141 is started by the PC 5, and if the OS for the PC 141 is not started, operates the OS for the PC 141 to make the PC 5 recognize the storage unit for the PC 14, and in response to the OS for the PC 141 being started, stops the storage unit for the PC 14 and operates the radio communication unit 16 to make the PC 5 recognize the radio communication unit 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
