PURPOSE: An artificial islet structure and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize the immune rejection of the human body and to prevent the loss of the islet cells. CONSTITUTION: An artificial islet structure comprises a supporter(10) and a protective covering(20). The supporter forms a plurality of space parts which is separated from each other by wall and stores islet cell in each space part. The protective covering covers a plurality of the space parts and is equipped with a micro pore smaller than an antibody. A plurality of the space parts is formed to pass through the supporter and opens both sides of the supporter.
