PURPOSE: An EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve for a vehicle is provided to make the rotary motion of an operating cam contribute to the opening motion of a valve unit as the contact state between the upper wall of a guide groove and the contact roller of the valve unit is continuously maintained. CONSTITUTION: An EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve(1) for a vehicle comprises a housing(100), a power transfer unit, a rotary shaft(430), an operating cam(210), a valve unit, and an elastic returning member. The power transfer unit is connected to a driving motor, and comprises a plurality of gears(410,420). The rotary shaft is connected to one of the gears. The operating cam moves in the rotary direction of the rotary shaft, and comprises a guide groove inside. The valve unit selectively opens or closes a gas path(121) according to the operation of the operating cam. One end of the valve unit is in contact with the upper surface of the guide groove, and the valve unit is operated with the operating cam. The elastic returning member is formed between the inner wall of the housing and the power transfer unit, and provides elastic returning power.
