<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of knitting a knitted fabric, for knitting a knitted portion of which elasticity is moderately suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A method of knitting a knitted fabric includes: transferring a one-side knitted loop 11 engaged with one needle bed (BB) to a knitting needle on a side in a forming direction RS, and then forming a new one-side knitted loop 11 continuing in a wale direction of the transferred one-side knitted loop 11 (step α); forming a one-side increased stitch 13 on an empty needle in a start end direction LS of the new one-side knitted loop 11 formed at the step α (step β); after the step β, transferring an opposite-side knitted loop 12 engaged with the other needle bed (FB) to a knitting needle on a side in the forming direction RS, and then forming a new opposite-side knitted loop 12 continuing in a wale direction of the transferred opposite-side knitted loop 12 (step γ); forming an opposite-side increased stitch 14 on an empty needle in the start end direction LS of the new opposite-side knitted loop 12 formed at the step γ (step δ); and repeating the step α to the step δ to form a knitted portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
