<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presbyopia correcting object and a method for correcting the presbyopia capable of improving the acuity of a person with the presbyopia by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A presbyopia correcting object 10 is a transparent thin plate 1 that is a lens or a film. The transparent thin plate 1 is formed with a diaphragm transparent part 3 having an opaque part 2. The presbyopia correcting object or objects 10 are placed on the surface of the corneas of one eye or both eyes.
