PURPOSE: An image display device capable is provided to function a sub display unit in 3D mode controlling the discharge motion of a discharge control switch through a direct control current of the slight on-level and to block the discharge motion of the discharge control switch through the direct control current of the off-level in 2D mode. CONSTITUTION: An upper main display unit(UMP) includes a first pixel electrode(Ep1). An upper sub display unit(USP) includes a second pixel electrode(EP2). The first discharge control switch(DST1) of the upper main display unit selectively connects the second pixel electrode to a common line(CL) according to the driving mode. A lower main display unit(LMP) includes a third pixel electrode(Ep3). A lower sub display unit(LSP) includes a fourth pixel electrode(Ep4). A second discharge control switch(DST2) of the lower sub display unit selectively connects the fourth pixel electrode to the common line according to the driving mode. |
