PURPOSE: A robot control system using a portable terminal is provided to enable a user to confirm the operation information of a robot which is remotely controlled and the surrounding environment of the robot using a portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal(10) operates and installs an application program provided from a control server by connecting to a first network. When an application program installment request is received from the portable terminal using the first network, the control server authenticates the user of the portable terminal. A robot(50) connects to the control server using a second network. The robot is operated according to the control signal of the control server.
