<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent display device which makes it possible to expect the improvement of a life span property of a red fluorescent substance not containing Cd when having been driven in an electric voltage region of 30 V or more. <P>SOLUTION: A fluorescent display device 1 comprises a filament cathode 10 disposed in a vacuum vessel for emitting low-speed electrons, and an anode 7 deposited with a fluorescent substance 8 emitting lights by being bombarded with the low-speed electrons. A structure 9 with a conductive or semi-conductive metal oxide formed at a low-speed electron irradiation part is provided in a region in which the low-speed electrons emitted from the cathode can be controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
