[Class 118 (i).] A device for preventing unauthorized use of motor vehicles comprises a hand-operated secret contact-combination switch which when correctly set, closes the ignition circuit at 17, 17<1> and opens an alarm circuit at 18, 18<1> but in other positions opens the ignition circuit at 17, 17<1> and prepares the alarm circuit at 18, 18<1> so that the alarm is sounded when the accelerator or starting pedal of the vehicle is actuated. For this purpose the pedals 1, 2 are adapted to engage arms 3, 3<1> on a shaft 4, rotating the latter and causing a contact 7 to bridge contacts 8 also in the circuit of the bell or alarm 9. |
