PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat 1 for health promotion by which even seniors or physically handicapped people can perform proper exercises with ease while developing the equilibrium sense.SOLUTION: The mat for health promotion includes: a cushion layer 20 having elasticity on the inside of a bag-like covering member 10 (a top surface member 11 and a bottom surface member 12); and a gel layer 30 having visco-elasticity. The cushion layer 20 is arranged on the lower layer as the base, and the gel layer 30 is laminate-arranged on the top surface side of the cushion layer 20. At the same time, a friction layer 40 is installed in a manner to be closely joined to the bottom surface of the gel layer 30. Then, when a shear load is applied along the bottom surface of the gel layer 30, the friction layer 40 suppresses the sliding of the gel layer 30 in the shearing direction. |
