PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit including a configuration allowing uniforming load distribution to every planetary gear, achieving high-precision drive without inhibiting an automatic aligning function by a planetary gear mechanism while achieving compactness, and allowing high-quality image output.SOLUTION: The drive unit includes a planetary gear deceleration mechanism 11 on a transmission route for transmitting a drive force from a drive motor M to a driven member 1. The planetary gear deceleration mechanism 11 includes at least one stage of carrier, and a planetary gear supported by the carrier. Output parts 101, 102 are provided to the carrier 18 of the last stage and are supported by only the carrier 18 during transmission of the drive force to the driven member 1. |
