PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display panel configured as a casing structure shared by an area window display system and an area character display system and thereby enables increase in the manufacturing cost, the management cost and the display system updating costs thereof to be suppressed. SOLUTION: First to third openings 4 to 6 and LED insertion holes 7 are formed in the front of an upper case 3 of a casing 2. A first circuit board 20, on which a liquid crystal panel 21 and an LED 22 configuring the area character display system are mounted, is assembled in the upper case 3. Here, a display part 21a of the liquid crystal display panel 21 can be viewed from the first opening 4, and the LED 22 can be viewed from the second and third openings 5, 6. A first display sheet 26 is engaged with a frame 8 and is attached to the upper case 3 so that the display part 21a can be viewed from a character display window 28, and the LED 22 can be viewed from an LED display window 29; and further, a protection plate 30 is engaged with the frame 8, being superimposed on the surface of the first display sheet 26 and then attached to the upper case 3.
