<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof box which improves workability in cover mounting work. <P>SOLUTION: A rotating shaft 26 of an upper cover 15 is hooked on the upper support portion 33 of the shaft support 18 of a box body 13, and the upper cover 15 is rotated on the position of the upper support portion 33. The upper cover 15 is rotated up to a prescribed position and is then pushed down in diagonally so as to cause the rotating shaft 26 to slide toward a lower support portion 35.
