PURPOSE: A data storage is provided to improve the utilization of the storage capacity and data search efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A data storage area(108) includes buckets and stores data which is acquired by a sensor(102). A directory area(110) comprises entries in which a pseudo key and a bucket pointer are stored. The bucket pointer points the bucket in a data storage region corresponding to the pseudo key. A controller(106) generates the pseudo key based on the data, extracts the bucket pointer corresponding to the pseudo key, and stores the data to the bucket which is pointed by the bucket pointer.
